Dam the stream
Stack stones, change the current. A childhood game, taken seriously.

Climb a tree
Look down over the forest from high up.

Catch fish
Drop a line in the stream and wait, quietly.

Watch birds
Just a pair of binoculars. The foot of Mt. Kaikoma is full of birdsong.

Drive the rough
Play the terrain itself, in a Jimny.
Drive with care.

Hunt game
Receive what the mountain gives.
With a licence, and in season.

Grill over charcoal
Meat, and vegetables chilled in the stream.

Build a fire
Sit around the flames until the night deepens.

Make noise
No one within five hundred metres. Your music, at your volume.

A fire, from scratch
Gather pinecones and dead branches from the forest. Even the wait for the fire to grow becomes a luxury here.

Stand barefoot in the stream
Wash the pots, soak your feet. All that remains is the murmur of water, and the cold.

Catch insects
Take a net into the long grass. A childhood absorption returns.

Stargaze by the fire
No needless light. Look up, and there are more stars than the city ever shows.

Build a base
Make your own base from wood and stone. No limit to the space, or the rules.

Nap in a hammock
String it between trees, wrapped in the sound of the forest. Simply savour doing nothing.

Fill a bucket with water, light hand-held fireworks. With no one around, neither sound nor light needs holding back.
See the fire fully out.
